The Le Mans Classic is underway and Kingsbury Racing has descended with a full family entry once more for the second event in a row.
Ewen Getley and his daughters Anna and Louisa will be aboard their Bentley 3 Litre, a familiar sight from the Racing Shop in Building 99 at every Scramble.
Kingsbury’s Lewis Fox partners Tom Wood in the latter's 1929 Bentley 4½ Litre Tourer, with Engine Fitting Shop bragging rights up for grabs during the Plateau 1 contests.
The category is open to cars from the dawn of the race, 1923 to 1939, a period Bentley initially dominated with five victories in the opening eight years of the race.
Meanwhile François Chaffard-Luçon will be carrying Bicester Motion down the Mulsanne Straight on the wings of his Jaguar XK120 Roadster in Plateau 2. His Big Cat is among the later cars in the class, open to Le Mans-eligible cars from 1949 to 1956.
Le Mans Classic will be streamed live on YouTube all weekend.
