Honoured to be guests of Baroness Jan Royall at the House of Lords showcasing Oxfordshire's Future Transport Innovation

We were honoured to be guests of Baroness Jan Royall at the House of Lords for the 'Oxfordshire Future Transport Innovation Showcase'.

This event focused on unlocking infrastructure, transport improvements, investment, innovation, and inclusive growth in our county.

As a proud sponsor, our CEO Daniel Geoghegan shared insights on our strategic location within Motorsport Valley.

He explained how we have many pioneering occupiers including three New York-listed companies and showroom facilities for EV manufacturers such as Polestar and we’re home to the governing body Motorsport UK and skilled engineers and craftsmen from the historic sector, alongside Heritage Skills Academy training 200 apprentices.

Dan highlighted key initiatives such as synthetic fuel manufacturer Zero Petroleum, and Skyports Infrastructure which has built right here the UK's first vertiport for testing passenger drone flights.

These efforts showcase the immense talent and ambition propelling us toward becoming global leaders in future mobility innovation and inclusive growth.

He also discussed our exciting masterplan and investment for new HQ offices designed to continue bolstering this innovation.

We also had the pleasure of hearing from high-performance axial flux electric
motor company YASA, a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz and their innovation.

We are thrilled to be soon welcoming YASA as they establish their new headquarters here.
