International auction house Broad Arrow Group UK will open its headquarters at Bicester Motion, and announced its forthcoming arrival with a spectacular display at the Scramble on Sunday 6 October.
Part of The Hagerty Group, Broad Arrow will be spearheaded by a team that boasts 100 years’ worth of experience in the classic and collector car market. Its Bicester Motion base will complement the headquarters in America and its base in Germany.
At the Scramble, a stunning collection of cars was brought together in the MT Yard of Bicester Heritage, headlined by Old Number 3, the Works Bentley Speed Six driven by ‘Sammy’ Davis in the 1930 Le Mans 24 Hours, and McLaren MP4/4 Chassis 3.
Outside, a TAG Formula 1-engined Porsche 911, Coventry Climax, Jaguar E-type and Ferrari Dino were among a wide display showcasing the diversity of cars that can be expected through Broad Arrow’s doors, either at auction or via private sales.
“Our focus is to be a leading global auction house and private sales brokerage in the collector car industry," said Joe Twyman, director of consignments for Broad Arrow UK.
“With our ever-growing team of industry specialists, we want to ensure we stand out with the quality of cars offered, the best advice based on research and data analytics, and exceptional client service.
“Our display at Bicester Heritage was a real show of our intent, not only in the high-level of cars displayed, but also in our friendly, open and approachable manner. We are looking forward to officially opening our new showroom and sharing more UK announcements very soon.”
Broad Arrow will be available at Bicester Motion by appointment ahead of its official opening, expected to be in late 2024.
