Bicester Motion has been recognised in the 2025 Cherwell Business Awards by claiming victory in The Large Business Award, sponsored by SE-Solicitors.
The ceremony was held at the Chesterton Hotel on Friday 19 September, with 12 awards on offer and 30 finalists in the running on the night.
The Large Business Award celebrates strong three-year financial performance, demonstrable goals, innovation and business evolution, along with positive, active work with the community.
It is the second Cherwell Business Award to be claimed by Bicester Motion since launching in 2013, and the two trophies chart perfectly the growth and development of the company. Exactly a decade ago, in 2015, the New Business Award came home to the former RAF Bicester just two years after CEO Daniel Geoghegan was given the keys.
The ceremony also raised almost £4000 for charity, with the £1852 donated by attendees on the night matched by Bicester Village, sponsors of The Charity and Community Award. Its winner, Gosford All Blacks RFC/Oxfordshire RFU, received half of the pot, while runners-up Cherwell Collective CIC and Bicester Hindu Society each received £926.
The Large Business Award is the first of two for which Bicester Motion has been shortlisted, with the Brand Awards winners expected to be announced in October.
