StarterMotor’s screening of ‘Vincenzo Lancia and the birth of modern motoring’ has been rearranged, and will take place on Thursday 2 October.
The screening had previously been scheduled for May.
Hagerty will host the exclusive evening from 6pm, with Lancia Motor Club laying on some special machinery from the history of the manufacturer to complement the documentary. Bicester Motion regulars Feast will be on hand with its charcoal-cooked offerings, too.
Tickets are £10 per person and can be purchased by emailing the LMC’s Alison Ure on alijoure@hotmail.com.
Meanwhile the charity’s second fundraising 50:50 draw has just launched, offering the chance to win 50% of the pot at the end of the month. The other half goes directly to StarterMotor. Tickets are £10, and August’s winner claimed £145.
“It’s great to be able to support StarterMotor,” August’s winner Andy said. “It's such an inspiring idea, supporting the next generation with a passion for working in the classic and historic car sector, helping us keep our cars on the road for years to come."
