Electrogenic has aligned itself with Porsche and Jaguar Land Rover by partnering with Andersen EV for domestic charger installations.
The stylish UK-made chargers will be offered to all customers of Electrogenic, with a host of options available even down to wood or carbon finish. Andersen's A2 comes in either 7kW or 22kW power configuration and it is the only charger commercially available with hidden cables.
Electrogenic recently showcased an example of the chargers at the International Women’s Day event hosted by Charlotte Vowden at Hagerty Clubhouse, and the charger will join the Kidlington and Northern Tanker Shed-based specialist at events throughout the summer. Expect to see an Andersen A2 at its testing base by the Bicester Heritage Paddock at some point.
David Martell, CEO of Andersen EV, said the partnership connects two like-minded companies: “We share a passion for advanced EV technologies and beautiful design, and we are committed to using only the best-quality materials.
"There have already been some exciting discussions about how we can collaborate on customers’ bespoke commissions, and we look forward to announcing more details over the coming months.”
Steve Drummond, co-founder of Electrogenic, added: “We’re delighted to offer Andersen's sophisticated home charging services to our clients. Our customers trust us to bring their vision for an electrified classic to life, delivering unrivalled quality of engineering in an elegantly designed package. Andersen, known for its beautifully constructed, bespoke wallboxes and standout reputation for customer service, therefore aligns perfectly with Electrogenic’s brand."
