Not only is Hagerty adding its weight to the Reboots & Restomods theme for the Scramble on Sunday 5 October, it is bringing one of the most spectacular projects by Tolman into its Clubhouse.
While the industry-leading 205 GTi will be on the Reboots & Restomods display beneath Building 123, its bigger brother will be in Hagerty’s Building 141b: a T16.
As a Group B homologation special, it’s also a useful nod to the January Scramble’s central display, on Sunday 11 January.
Tolman, whose Sunbeam, RS200 and Peugeot 205s have all appeared at Scrambles in recent years, has created a bespoke cambelt timing and pulley kit, front anti-roll bars and coolant pipes for increased reliability and driving pleasure.
Alongside the public debut of the T16 re-engineered by Tolman will be a New Beetle, Renault 4 and MGB by Frontline, another of the firms on the Reboots & Restomods main lawn.
Find Hagerty Clubhouse at the entrance to the Command Works, opposite what will become Hot Rod Alley.
