Bicester Heritage has a new classic car showroom on site with the arrival of the up and coming Hangar 136.

Founded by Oliver Gatland-Pendleton and Laurence Pawson, with a board of patrons including HERO-ERA chairman Tomas De Vargas Machuca and managing director Patrick Burke, Hangar 136 takes over Tanker Shed 136 opposite Motorsport UK.

There’s no dominant marque or model for Hangar 136, just a will to find the right buyer for the right car – who wants something they can use.

That includes in competition, not least with those close links to HERO-ERA: the 2022 Novice Trial-winning Triumph TR3 is currently for sale and a Peugeot 504 will come with HERO-ERA membership and entry to the Temple Rally.

Yet it’s not all about rally cars. A glassfibre Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina and Ferrari 456M find themselves alongside a Rolls-Royce 20HP – all turnkey cars to be enjoyed on the road.

Hangar 136 has partnered with Charles & Dean and Warrantywise to offer the complete package when it comes to buying, and every car sold will also come with NET-HERO credits that will offset the first 1000 miles covered.

“Hangar 136 has an ethos and knowledge that is truly in line with our Bicester Heritage vision,” said Daniel Geoghegan, chief executive of Bicester Motion. “It’s a pleasure to have them join us as part of our specialist community.”

If you’re at the Scramble on Sunday you’ll get the first glimpses inside the revamped Tanker Shed space.
