It has been the big question for the past week or so, since tickets to The Great British Jaguar Day with Chris Harris & Friends and Car & Classic went on sale.
Will my Jaguar get display parking?
The short answer is yes. Simply buy a ticket, turn up to Bicester Motion on Saturday 23 May in a Jag and you’ll be directed to the priority parking area by the marshals. Much the same as pre-2001 parking at the Scramble.
There is plenty of space but it’s not unlimited, again much the same as pre-2001 parking at the Scramble. And there should be a lot of Jags. It’s effectively first come, first served and gates open at 9am; the earlier the arrival the better the chance of getting into priority parking.
Great British Jaguar Day is a love letter to Jaguar, from the earliest Swallow Sidecars to the modern day, and the priority parking will celebrate the whole of the marque and its variety together. Regardless of Jaguar, engine, mileage, club affiliation: it’s about Jaguars coming together.
