We’re excited to share our 10-year investment plan for Bicester Motion – a vision that builds on what’s already been achieved here and takes us into our next phase of growth.
Over the past decade, we’ve grown a thriving community of innovators, engineers, artisans and entrepreneurs. Today, more than 500 people are based across the estate, with around 200 apprentices trained each year – developing the skills that will shape the future of mobility.
You’ll have seen first-hand how the estate has evolved. From the foundations of Bicester Heritage through to The Command Works and The Ranges, we’ve created close to one million square feet of workspace and a genuinely unique cluster.
That momentum continues. Recent arrivals including Audi’s Revolut F1 Team, Polestar, Motorsport UK, Skyports Infrastructure and Zero show the draw of being part of this community. TeamSport will open its indoor e-karting experience later this year, and YASA will move into its new HQ, bringing 400 highly skilled roles to the site.
Looking ahead, our masterplan sets out a considered next step. We are proposing up to a further one million square feet of workspace to support the next generation of pioneering businesses.
Our plans also include around 200 new apartments, alongside an enhanced hotel offering with lodges and a clubhouse – creating more opportunities to live, stay and spend time here.
Sustainability and stewardship remain central to how we grow. We will continue to enhance the landscape and support local habitats through thoughtful, long-term design.
This next phase will also support new jobs and career pathways, both within the businesses here and through the construction programme.
Bicester Motion has become a destination in its own right, with around 150,000 visitors joining us each year for events including our sell-out Scrambles. This next chapter is about building on that momentum - strengthening our role in the local economy, supporting UK innovation and staying closely connected to the Bicester community.
Daniel Geoghegan, Chief Executive Officer of Bicester Motion, said:
“As custodians of the estate, we're proud of the world-leading mobility cluster we have created by investing in Bicester and Oxfordshire, creating skilled jobs, remarkable opportunities and unique experiences. We remain driven to deliver a dynamic and inclusive environment, with thoughtful design, community wellbeing and long-term sustainability all coming together to shape a vibrant place for generations to enjoy. We now look ahead to the next 10 years and welcome people’s feedback as we look to further invest in and enhance this unique place.”
As part of our next steps, a four week public consultation has opened on Thursday 28 May 2026 and will run until Thursday 25 June 2026. A public exhibition will be held at Bicester Motion on Friday 12 June from 2pm to 7pm. You can also find out more and share your views here: https://consultation.bicestermotion.com
