Morgan Motor Company rounded off 2025 with a celebration of its partnership with BMW, bringing together 14 key models powered by the German engine from the past 25 years in Hangar 113.

The Aero 8 kicked off the collaboration in 2000, the first clean-sheet Morgan design for more than 30 years, and its spirit lives on today in the Supersport. Both cars lined up front and centre in the celebration.

A GTR variant, launched in the same hangar during the Undercover Assembly of 2021, returned to honour the final BMW V8 Morgan, along with other 4.4-litre M62 and N62-powered cars.

The modern aluminium Morgans, built on the CX platform, introduced the turbocharged 3-litre inline six and the 2-litre engines and were comprehensively represented, so too Morgan’s BMW-powered racing exploits. The iconic Aero 8 LMGT that was a works entrant into the 2004 24 Hours of Le Mans joined the University of Wolverhampton’s Plus Four racer.

“We are immensely proud of what we have achieved together,” said Morgan managing director Matthew Hole of the partnership.

“The collaboration between Morgan and BMW continues to be a cornerstone of Morgan’s engineering and product identity. BMW’s engines have consistently delivered the reliability, performance, and character that support the Morgan driving experience, helping to deliver undiluted driving joy for the past 25 years.

“It is a partnership built on this shared value, as we combine our handcrafted production, individuality, and driver-focused engineering, with BMW’s exceptional powertrain technology.”
