It's Scramble week!

Here's your guide to many of the highlights and featured displays to look out for on the day. And remember, much of the joy of the Scramble is the unexpected… so expect to find surprises as you wander around the avenues.

Get your bearings: the Scramble map

1. Pegasus Parking

Priority parking for Bicester Motion's Pegasus members. Jump out of your car, and the Scramble is on your doorstep.

2. Trade Village

Browse a selection of hand-picked shopping stalls, as you enter the Scramble.

3. Pre-'90s Parking

Arriving in a pre-'90s car? When you arrive, if there's capacity, you may be directed to our forward parking for classic cars. A display in itself, make sure you take a look!

4. XJ-S Club

The Jaguar XJ-S Club is marking the model’s 50th birthday with a 50-car display around the Watch Office on the Airfield.

5. Tesla Test Drives

Tesla UK is offering you the chance to take the wheel from its pop-up display near the Paddock.

6. Supercar and Performance Paddock

You won't want to miss the Supercar and Performance Paddock, dedicated to speed machines across the generations.

7. Pedal Aeroplanes

Pedal aeroplanes are here for your little Scramblers, located fittingly within Hangar 113.

8. Autojumble

Once a year the Scramble features an Autojumble – a prime opportunity for you to pick up parts and automobilia!

9. Golden Ticket Lawn

Arriving in something special? Look out for Ambassadors from StarterMotor, who'll be handing out golden tickets. Lucky enough to receive one? You'll be directed to display your car here.

10. BMW M

Meet BMW's new M Power icon. The newest member of the BMW M Power family is on show, surrounded by its forebears all the way back to the 1980s.

11. Reboots & Restomods

Celebrating the reborn on the Scramble's main lawn. Something old made new, updated and uprated, for the modern world.

12. Top Gear

Top Gear has once again pulled out all the stops to showcase another of this new generation of latest and greatest supercars, the Maserati GT2 Stradale.

13. Pistonheads

A Scramble debut! Head to the Pistonheads display to see an array of their fantastic cars available for auction.

14. Little Top children's activities

A special place for the youngest Scramblers. Stop by for everything from balloons to face painting.

15. StarterMotor

One of Bicester Motion's resident charities. Visit to enjoy an MG-themed display and find out how you can get involved.

16. The Intercooler

Stop by The Intercooler's display to revel in their display of extra-special Porsche 911's. One you won't want to miss!

17. Alfa Romeo

With Reboots on the main display, Alfa Romeo has gathered its own revived iconic name for you to put through its paces. Test drives of the Alfa Romeo Junior are available from outside the Station Offices by Gate 1, with a route laid out for you to get a true feel for the highly rated hatch.

18. Hot Rod Alley

Fresh from hosting the second ‘Throttle’ event on the Experience & Demonstration Track at Bicester Motion in the summer, some of the members of the Vintage Hot Rod Association have returned to offer a taste of their uniquely spectacular machinery.

19. Mini Landers

Mini Landers are back, and will be raising funds for a good cause. All proceeds from the Mini Landers driving experience will be donated to the Fire Fighters Charity and the Go Fund Me page for Dave Chester.

20. Fire Fighter Charity and display

The Fire Party House has returned to service by welcoming a Land Rover fire tender and members of the Bicester Fire Service to help raise funds for charity.

Thanks to initiatives from around the country, more than £100,000 has been donated following the devastating fire in Hangar 79 at Bicester Motion on 15 May, which took the lives of firefighters Jennie Logan and Martyn Sadler and friend of the site Dave Chester. Means of supporting both causes can be found at Building 87.

21. Rollhard

Check out friends of the Scramble Rollhard, where the UK's finest modified machines come together.

22. Polestar generations display

Polestar is celebrating its fifth birthday in the UK and to mark the occasion the manufacturer has gathered a remarkable line up of cars in Building 90. Visit the pop-up display to hear Jack Scarlett from Everything Electric discuss the brand new Polestar 5, the Arctic Circle collection and more throughout the day.

23. Lotus Esprit

Half a century of the Lotus Esprit is being celebrated with a gathering of some of the many models that wore the Esprit badge since it was revealed.

24. Adventure Automotive

Climb aboard one of the most talked-about cars of recent memory by test driving an INEOS Grenadier. To register for an on-road driving experience that puts you in the driver’s seat, visit their display.

General Parking

Located to the east of the site, on the airfield.

Toilets

Located in four areas:

  • On the corner of Hangar 113

  • By Hangar 108, beyond the Golden Ticket Lawn

  • Just off the main drive, opposite the Information Point, by building 103

  • Near Gate 1, between buildings 87 and 89

Catering

Catering outlets are spread throughout the Scramble. There are plenty of options for all dietary requirements, with vegetarian and vegan options available.

We recommend picking up a glass of Pommery's Champagne – find the team on the Main Drive.

Information & Bicester Motion Hub

Head to the revamped Information Point and new Bicester Motion Hub on the Main Drive and you could win VIP access to the first Scramble of 2026.

The team will point you in the right direction around the event and chat through exciting development plans such as the restoration of the Station Headquarters and continued growth of The Ranges.

Medical Points

There will be two main medical points, one beside the Watch Office on the airfield, and the other on Southern Avenue, near Hangar 137. Should you have a medical requirement, please head to one of the medical points, but if it's an emergency, call 999.

How to get here

What's the address?

Bicester Motion, Buckingham Rd, Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX27 8AL.

Please note: Pay attention to event signage as you draw closer to the event. Event attendees will not be able to enter in a vehicle via Gate 1, which satellite navigation systems may try to use.

Do I have to pay for parking?
No, all parking is free.

Which entrances do vehicles use?
Vehicles will be directed by yellow event signs to the gates on Buckingham Road and Skimmingdish Lane. Please follow the event signage. Most attendees will enter the site via gates 3 and 8, depending upon which direction you'll be arriving, but please pay attention to the signage on your route in.

I'm a Pegasus member. Where do I park?
Follow event signage, and make sure you're displaying your membership sticker in the front windscreen of your car. You'll be directed towards Hangar Green, well-placed to step out of your car and into the Scramble.

What is the deal for classic vehicles?
Visitors planning to arrive in a pre-1990 classic vehicle will be directed to the forward parking display areas. If you are in a post-1990 vehicle you will use general parking – anyone trying to access the pre-1990 display areas will be politely asked to turn around.

Which entrance do pedestrians use?
Pedestrians with a valid ticket must use Gate 1 on Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane.

We're lucky to have a prime position on the northern edge of Bicester, but this also means we're not the only ones on the roads. Please drive carefully, calmly and quietly; we ask you not to use the roads around us as a makeshift racing track.

Scramble FAQs

What are the timings of the event?
The Scramble runs from 9am until 4pm on Sunday 5 October. Please respect our neighbours and be aware of local traffic on arrival and departure of the event.

Will there be an event programme?

Look out for the local scout group who'll be handing out the event's programme, or pop over to the Information Point on the Main Drive.

What can I expect to see at the event?
The Scramble is an opportunity for thousands of classic vehicle enthusiasts to come together and enjoy a relaxed outdoor gathering, with curated displays and entertainment for all the family. As well as enjoying the visiting classic cars, motorbikes and other vehicles, you can also glimpse inside the 50 specialist businesses now based at Bicester Motion.

Where can I find my tickets? 
Your tickets will have been sent to the email address used when you originally purchased them, coming from our ticket partner 'Universe'. You can download them again by visiting https://www.universe.com/. Should you run into any trouble locating them, please get in touch with our team by emailing events@bicestermotion.com and we will be happy to help. 

What catering will be available?
There will be plenty of catering outlets on site, serving hot and cold drinks and a variety of offerings for all dietary requirements.

Are dogs allowed on site?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on their leads at all times. Please clean up after your dog – bins are provided onsite and do remember that vehicles will be moving around and the airfield is active.

Is there any readmission?
No, sorry, there is no readmission if you leave the site during the event.

Do you provide passes for Blue Badge visitor carers or assistants?
If you are Blue Badge holder and require full-time assistance, we are happy to provide 1 complimentary pass. You will need to book your ticket first and in order to receive this free pass, please send a copy of your most recent DLA or PIP letter showing your current entitlement to events@bicestermotion.com. We will then send you the complimentary ticket for your carer/companion.

What accessible facilities are available?
There is a dedicated accessible parking area close to the event entrance, please do ensure you have your blue badge permit in your car window. There are also a accessible toilets onsite.

Are mobility vehicles available on site?
Yes, you can pre-book mobility scooters via Event Mobility, who will provide electric scooters and manual wheelchairs. To reserve an electric scooter or manual wheelchair, either visit www.eventmobility.org.uk, print out an advance booking form from the website or contact the office on 01386 725391 to request a form to be posted to you. Please be aware that advance bookings cannot be made by phone.

I'm a Pegasus Member, what benefits do I get?

Bicester Motion's Scramblers with a Pegasus membership gain a number of benefits. There's priority parking on the Hangar Green, and you'll also be able to pick up a free coffee from one of the cafés onsite.

Do you have ATMs at Bicester Motion?
No, but there are plenty nearby at the local petrol stations and supermarkets.
