The generations line at the Scramble will mark 100 years of the Rolls-Royce Phantom on Sunday 5 January.

Rolls-Royce released the New Phantom in 1925, and no two are the same. But, as a development of the 40/50HP Silver Ghost, as the Phantom’s arrival would necessitate it to be renamed, each is a silently refined piece of motion.

The engine sets it apart: pushrod overhead valves rather than sidevalves worked the enlarged 7.7-litre.

It is the longest-lived nameplate in the automotive world, split across eight generations of luxury.

The line-up, including a first-year model and the latest, has been created with the help of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club (RREC) and the factory, and will be hard to miss.

The display will be alongside Hedley Studios into the Command Works.

Tickets are available now for the Scramble on Sunday 5 January, find out more here.
