The spectacular Polestar Concept BST will return to the UK in the new year and command the marque’s HQ at the Scramble on Sunday 5 January.

A development of sorts of the Polestar 2 BST that regular attendees will have seen powering around at Flywheel in 2023, the Concept takes the ‘Beast’ moniker to new extremes.

The BST project was born out of a skunkworks at Polestar, when Joakim Rydholm decided to see how far he could push the production version of the 2. Supercar levels of speed, acceleration and grip were delivered by the edition 270.

It is, Polestar says, ‘an execution of our vision of the naughtier side of Scandinavian design.’

The result is a sharply drawn-down (pop-out) pillarless roofline that ends beneath a race-inspired rear wing. A first for Polestar. Front and rear splitters add more theoretical downforce, and a wider track hugs it to the ground with flared wings and lower suspension.

Big, 22-inch, wheels meet dinner-plate disc brakes and a race livery completes the remarkable aesthetic.

The BST will be alongside the new Polestar 3 SUV and Polestar 4 SUV Coupé at the Space on Sunday 5 January – book now.
