Polestar UK celebrated five years in the UK with an exclusive reveal of its latest model at the inaugural Polestar Festival on Saturday 13 September, culminating in the biggest ever collage of the Polestar logo.

The event took place in Hangar 113 and Experience & Demonstration Track and Paddock at Bicester Motion, with 1500 marque enthusiasts lucky enough to bag the free tickets.

The logo on the airfield, meanwhile, was made up of 180 owners’ vehicles, and was three hours in the making.

The Polestar 5 reveal was the centrepiece to the event, though, welcomed onto the stage by Polestar UK managing director Matt Galvin and driven into the Paddock to give fans an up-close look at the new GT.

Vicki Butler-Henderson compered the festiva;, which also featured live talks and partner displays from the likes of Google, Pirelli, Bowers & Wilkins and more, while fans were offered laps behind the wheel of the 2, 3 and 4 on the short and twisty circuit. The 3 also tackled the 4x4 Course on the outer reaches of the Perimeter Track.

The Arctic Circle collection vied with the 5 for attendees’ attention, with the trio lined up in Hangar 113 complete with studded tyres, skis, lifted suspension and plenty of tricks and treats to take in. The FAT Ice Race, where the cars had been on dynamic display, was loaded onto simulators for fans to get behind their virtual wheels, too.

“It was incredible to see so many customers and friends of the brand on Saturday,” Galvin said, adding: “the reception to the new Polestar 5 has been astonishing.

“Polestar UK is growing fast and has a very exciting future ahead of it, and I would like to thank all our customers for being part of this success story.”
