Members of the local community were welcomed onto site to view and discuss the proposed 10-year investment plan for Bicester Motion on Friday 12 June, hosted at Hagerty Clubhouse in the Command Works.

The public exhibition showcased the proposed masterplan vision, which was revealed on 28 May and seeks to support future investment in the estate, create new jobs, deliver additional workspace for pioneering mobility businesses, introduce new apartments and a hotel, and enhance biodiversity across the site. The plans target boosting the economy by around £1 billion per year.

Visitors were able to view the proposals, meet members of the project team and ask questions about the plans.

Daniel Geoghegan, chief executive officer, Bicester Motion, thanked those who attended, adding: “We were pleased to welcome so many people and have constructive conversations about the future of Bicester Motion.

“As custodians of this unique estate, we are committed to listening to our neighbours, local businesses and wider stakeholders. Their feedback is an important part of helping us shape plans that support long-term investment, jobs and opportunities, while respecting the estate’s heritage and its role within the local community.”

The public consultation remains open online until 11pm on Thursday 25 June 2026, offering the chance to provide feedback on the proposals.

Following the close of consultation, all comments will be reviewed and considered by the project team before publishing a consultation feedback report. This will summarise what people have said and how that feedback has informed the evolution of the proposals.
