The completion of the new headquarters of YASA at The Ranges was celebrated in true Bicester Motion fashion in October, with cars new and old donning some rally plates for a tour of this corner of Motorsport Valley.
The 90,000 sq ft building took just 12 months to complete and represents a significant milestone for both Bicester Motion and YASA. It demonstrates the strength of collaboration and a shared commitment to pioneering technology, design excellence and sustainable growth.
Invitees began the rally with a tour of the capacious space, which will be the home of Mercedes-Benz Group’s electric motor arm, and which is the first of five buildings at The Ranges.
From there the attendees climbed inside the assembled machinery, from Pearl Green Mercedes-Benz 190SL to soft-top Land Rover Series, to follow a route packed with challenges on the way to local partner Blenheim Palace.
Back at The Ranges, prizes were handed out including the wooden spoon to finance director John Bentley for being the last to finish.
