CALLUM’s most recent restomod reboots not one but two different names: Mini and Wood & Pickett.
And it is a striking combination, done in partnership also with famous car collector David Gandy for the first iteration of a limited run.
The shell is a Mk5 Sportspack, making it a later original Mini, with new front and rear skirts, and original Wood & Pickett flared arches to offer a newly sporting look.
That is matched by what is under the bonnet, the 1310cc Stage 3 engine producing 110bhp with a retuned ECU and gearbox, new cylinder head, twin-point injection and eye-catching exhaust treatment.
Wheels are swapped out for deep-dish and futuristic 13in alloys, reflecting the modern interior. The ‘Margrave’ dashboard from Wood & Pickett creations of yesteryear have provided the inspiration for the CALLUM’s rework, but with a screen integrated among the dials and piano switchgear. Bridge of Weir tan leather add soft-touch luxury.
No two Wood and Pickett Mini by CALLUM creations will be the same, with so many peronalisation options available. See the first up close as part of the Reboots & Restomods display at the Scramble on Sunday 5 October.
