Some will find this one hard to believe, but the January Scramble taking place in the snow was not only one of the three most nominated, it was the first.
The Spitfire and Astons
A double header. At the Scramble in April, Hangar 113 welcomed a Spitfire from Duxford to join the widest display of Aston Martin Wings Series cars. Witnessing a Second World War aircraft skip into land on a Second World War airbase will always make hairs stand on end.
The Family
Quite who will accept the award if this one wins is anyone’s guess. ‘Simply being at a Scramble my son/daughter’ is entry number three in the Scramble Moment of the Year 2025.
