We’re looking forward to another incredible Scramble on Sunday, and part of the spirit of January’s event is the possibility of inclement weather.

We’d like to reassure you that the event is scheduled to go ahead as planned. We continuously monitor conditions, and our team will be on hand to support and guide all guests coming along for the day.

We recommend keeping up to date with the latest weather forecasts, and please do take every care with your journey to us. Allow extra time to travel, and please take it steady when you arrive at the event as our stewards guide you towards the car parks.

As the majority of the Scramble takes place in the great outdoors, please dress appropriately and wear comfortable, outdoor footwear.

Everything is set for an exciting day, and we look forward to welcoming you to Bicester Motion. The adventurous spirit of this gathering is part of what makes it so memorable!

We look forward to seeing you.

Scramble Travel and Arrival FAQs

What are the timings of the event?
The Scramble runs from 9am until 2pm on Sunday 11th January. Please respect our neighbours and be aware of local traffic on arrival and departure of the event.

What's the address?
Bicester Motion, Buckingham Rd, Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX27 8AL.

Please pay attention to event signage as you draw closer to the event. You will not be able to enter in a vehicle via Gate 1, which satellite navigation systems may try to use; instead please follow the P symbol.

Do I have to pay for parking?
No, all parking is free.

Which entrances do vehicles use?
Gates 3 and 8. As you near Bicester Motion, follow the ‘P’ symbol on the yellow event signage to the gates on Buckingham Road and Skimmingdish Lane. Please do not follow your satellite navigation system.

Your tickets will then be checked by the stewards and you will be directed to the parking areas.

What's the plan once I'm on-site?
Welcome! Keep an eye out for our friendly stewards who'll guide you towards the public car parks. Park up, and make your way towards the Paddock.

Where can I find my tickets?
Your tickets will have been sent to the email address used when you originally purchased them, coming from our ticket partner 'Universe'. You can download them again by visiting https://www.universe.com/. Should you run into any trouble locating them, please get in touch with our team by emailing events@bicestermotion.com and we will be happy to help.

What is the deal for classic vehicles?
The classic car park has had an update and will now welcome any car with a prefix or suffix numberplate. That means any car made before 2001 will be directed to the forward parking display areas, if capacity allows. If you are in a post-2001 vehicle you will use general parking – anyone trying to access the pre-2001 display areas will be politely asked to turn around.

Earn yourself a Golden Ticket.
Arriving in something special? Look out for Ambassadors from StarterMotor, who'll be handing out Golden Ticket hangers. Lucky enough to receive one? You'll be directed to display your car on the Golden Ticket Lawn, rather than the public car park.

Which entrance do pedestrians use?
Pedestrians with a valid ticket must use Gate 1 on Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane.
