As the community comes together to remember Martyn Sadler, a firefighter who died tackling the fire on Thursday 15 May, Bicester Motion CEO Dan Geoghegan has paid tribute:
“Martyn Sadler clearly touched the lives of so many, not only as a firefighter but as a person and a member of the community.
“It has been profoundly moving to read the many tributes paid to him since that tragic evening on 15 May, from his family so eloquently describing him as ‘the definition of a hero’ to Bicester Rugby Club remembering his ‘infectious smile that lit up a room’.
“His friends, family and colleagues are in the thoughts of all at Bicester Motion today, but the sacrifice he, Jennie Logan and Dave Chester so sadly made will never be forgotten.”
