Historically, the Scramble displays on the Tech Site had a strict rule of pre-1990 cars only. That's loosened a little since Scramblers launched but the pre-1990 car park on the airfield is still ring-fenced for cars at least 30 years old.
But, supercars and modern performance cars have always had a place here at Bicester Heritage, and that, as everyone knows, is the paddock. Call it the Supercar Paddock, the Performance Car Paddock, the Prestige Paddock; whatever. You can’t miss it.
It’s a very Scramble experience to meander through a sea of classics and curios on the way in, then wade through ultra-rare and super-fast moderns of all shapes and sizes outside Hangar 113, and then step back in time with the specialists’ and the invited classics on the other side of the Tanker Sheds.
There’s no method or guarantee of being waved into the paddock – it’s largely the luck of the draw from our assembled team of automotive enthusiasts and marshals. The upshot is that no two Scramble paddocks are ever the same.
Take a look through the gallery below, if you’re in any doubt. Then look forward to Sunday 9 October to see what makes the cut. Grab the very last of the tickets while you still can.
And don't forget, you can get an early taste of the paddock with our upcoming Poster Cars & Supercars Assembly on 24 September.
