When Dan Geoghegan dreamed up Bicester Heritage, the backstory to which you’ll hopefully have watched in Chapter 1 of 10 for 10, the goal was to produce a one-stop location for your classic car needs.

The Bianchi 40hp from 1907, owned by Wriggly Monkey Brewery founder Luke Roberts' family, is a very real representation of that.

In pouring rain he set off for the south coast and Goodwood with his entry into the SF Edge Trophy safely stowed under his rudimentary weather protection and fine-tuning his set-up as he goes.

Many of his fellow specialists have helped get him to this point. Like with most of the Wriggly Monkey Brewery fleet, the Heritage Skills Academy apprentices are encouraged to spanner it and do many of the jobs.

This being race week, the radiator naturally went so he had to make the journey a few yards across the Main Drive to the Vintage Radiator Company for a fix.

Even closer to WMB's MT Yard home and next door to HSA, Heritage Engineering manufactured parts including cogs. while Harry Fraser Vehicle Upholstery is regularly employed for his team’s expertise, too.

And just before setting off Harry, Mark Elder of The Motor Shed and Luke were deep in conversation while peering in various places.

You can keep an eye on Luke’s progress on the live feed, and the second race will be live on ITV4 on Sunday. Luke will be in action at 5:15pm on Saturday and 1:30pm on Sunday.
