You asked; we listened. We’re putting on a Track Social event on the morning of Friday 5 April, and places are available now exclusively to Pegasus members. Merlin member? Get in touch for your space.
The Track Social is by no means a trackday, rather it’s an antidote to that. This is a relaxed morning spent in the paddock at Bicester Heritage, with the Experience & Demonstration Track available to just 30 of you between 9am and 1pm.
On arrival you’ll be given a token for a coffee and pastry, then listen to the track manager’s briefing before being sent out for some solo familiarisation laps. After that, a handful of cars will go onto the track at a time, safely distanced to avoid any stumbling across each other, and a few laps later you’ll rejoin the back of the queue or take a break.
Timing is not permitted, nor is tyre squeal or cars louder than 98db. Offenders will be black flagged. It's for cars only, and road cars at that.
Roughly a mile in length, the Experience & Demonstration Track is deceptively technical with rewarding corners and short, sharp straights. It is perfect for just about anything with four wheels, as the previous Merlin mornings and Flywheel have shown. Chances like this to enjoy your car in such an environment don’t come around often.
Not only that, but StarterMotor will be on hand with a few cars from its fleet that, for a donation, you’ll also be able to try.
