Triple Lotus treat to Scramble

Evija makes Scramble debut alongside Emira GT4 and new guest

Lotus will bring together three very special cars at the Scramble on Sunday 21 April, lining up outside the Northern Tanker Sheds into the Modern Performance and Supercar Paddock.

They will be there for good reason: its electric Evija hypercar will make its first Scramble appearance. Via the Main Gate, in fact, marking the first time many will see one of the stunning machines on the road.

It won’t be its first visit to Bicester Heritage, though, having lapped the Experience & Demonstration Track – and even Hangar 113! – during the prototype development. With 2000PS, no production car in the world can match its output and it will surpass 200mph. Only a limiter stops it at 218mph. Just 130 will be built in a dedicated complex at Hethel, the home of Lotus.

Alongside will be the Emira GT4 racer, which won on its debut during the Macau Grand Prix weekend and is powered by a supercharged V6 Toyota engine tuned by Lotus.

It is the long-awaited replacement for the Evora GT4 and the first car created by Lotus Advanced Performance in Coventry and eligible for the GT4 category internationally and at home.

The third car? Keep an eye, and an ear, out at 10:30am.
