Lindsay Croisdale-Appleby, the UK's Ambassador to the EU, exlpored the avenues of the Technical Site and new Ranges development at Bicester Motion on Monday 6 October.
Set to tour the UK as a part of the government's 'domestic roadshow', the Government's top ambassadors and commissioners are meeting with key businesses to understand and support growth into key markets, including the European Union.
Following an introduction to Bicester Motion from CEO Daniel Geoghegan, the Ambassador’s party and Oxfordshire County Council representative Councillor Ben Higgins, Cabinet Member for Future Economy and Innovation, visited ZERO Petroleum’s record-breaking laboratory and Hedley Studios immaculate workshops.
Following the tour, a round table discussion was held in the Station Armoury with guests including Dr Tim Woolmer and Joerg Miska from new arrivals YASA, Sarah Jaycock, founder of High Spec Composites, Robin Tuluie, chairman of former Bicester Motion specialist Physics X, James Mitchell founder of Pendine, and Ben Hedley and Ben Street representing Hedley Studios.
