Polestar’s Synergy design concept will make its UK public debut at the Scramble at Bicester Heritage on Sunday 7 January.

The supercar-like silhouette will be central to the display at the Polestar UK headquarters in the Command Works.

Synergy is the result of the Polestar Design Competition 2022 and earlier in 2023 a full-size model was revealed at IAA Mobility in Munich. Three designs were combined by the Polestar Design Team for the Synergy concept, out of 600 entries worldwide, over six months of collaboration.

Two exterior designs were chosen, both from Paris-based designers Devashish Deshmukh and Swapnil Desai, with one interior concept by Yingxiang Li from China.

The Synergy, which is similar in size to a Ford GT40, is not expected to enter production but serves to prove ‘electric supercars can be as exciting as internal combustion supercars’, according to the manufacturer.

“I’m proud that the team were able to guide and support the winners to realising their dream as a full-scale model, said Polestar’s Head of Design Maximillian Missoni at the time. “It’s not often student designers receive such exposure at the start of their career, something the Polestar Design Community on Instagram does so well, amplified this year by the 1:1 scale model.”

The Synergy will be in the centre of the Polestar building on Sunday 7 January for all to see.

Tickets to the Scramble cost £19 for adults and £1.50 for under 15s and are available now.
