Get your bearings: the Scramble map

1. Pegasus Parking

Priority parking for Bicester Motion's Pegasus members. Jump out of your car, and the Scramble is on your doorstep.

2. 25 years of the Vanquish

Some of the Aston Martin Vanquish owners of the www.AstonOwners.com community have gathered around the Watch Office to celebrate a quarter of a century of the spectacular model. Also among the display is the cutaway model that was displayed at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show and formed from the Project Vantage concept. It has been provided by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust. Almost 40 cars are expected to celebrate the V12 machine’s milestone, which launched in Detroit in 2001 at the North American International Auto Show.

3. Pre-2001 Parking and supercars

The forward parking for Pre-’2001 vehicles is now also home to the latest and greatest supercar or performance cars. When you arrive, if there's capacity, you may be directed to our forward parking for classic and supercars. A display in itself, make sure you take a look!

4. Top Gear

Editorial partner Top Gear has moved to the Paddock with a wild line-up of mouth-watering motors, from supercars to super city cars.

Renault’s retro streak continues with the upcoming Twingo, which makes its Scramble debut fresh from being named TG’s Electric Car of the Year. Its predecessor starred in the hatchback display of a few Scrambles ago on Orchard Lawn. Which is cuter? There’s Italian exotica in the wedge shapes of the Lamborghini Revuelto and Ferrari 296 GTS, a choir of Singers and much more.

Meet the team in the Paddock outside Hangar 113.

5. RAF Bicester Centenary

Hangar 113 is rolling back the years to host a celebration some 100 years in the making.

The site as you'll see it at the Scramble first began to take shape in 1926, when an injection of government funding created sites exactly like this one up and down the country. Except none look quite like this today.

You'll find a pioneering Bristol Scout surrounded by cars of the period from road and track. Britain’s top classified car from the first British Grand Prix is among them – in August, the race celebrates its own centenary. The Tank Museum’s 1920 Rolls-Royce Pattern is unmissable, an armoured vehicle that served in Ireland, Egypt and Shanghai before returning to join the home defence during the Second World War. Two of Britain’s oldest manufacturers, Bentley and Vauxhall, have laid on cars from their heritage fleets and more have been assembled from around Bicester Motion and beyond – including from Harry Fraser Vehicle Upholstery, Emily Fraser and Richard Rimmer of the nearby T Service.

6. Pedal aeroplanes

Pedal aeroplanes are here for your little Scramblers, located fittingly within Hangar 113.

7. Lamborghini Miura at 60

On the apron of Historit, the 60th birthday of the original supercar is being celebrated with a handful of Lamborghini Miuras gathering together in unlikey numbers. Five variants of the S and SV will flank the doorway, with more in the gallery inside.

8. Mini Landers

Children can try their hand at driving their very own Mini Lander at the Scramble! The course is laid out behind the former Station Offices.

9. Encor

Sit down with Encor, makers of the all-carbon fibre re-engineered Lotus Esprit at Bar 101 @ Sky Wave Gin. The white Esprit took a star turn in the 1977 Bond flick The Spy Who Loved Me, and Encor’s ultimate Esprit will vie for the attention alongside an original Lotus – submarine wings not included. Visit Bar 101 @ Sky Wave Gin at the very top of Main Drive.

10. Golden Ticket Lawn

Arriving in something special? Look out for Ambassadors from StarterMotor, who'll be handing out golden tickets. Lucky enough to receive one? You'll be directed to display your car here.

11. Skoot

Skoot, partner of the Scramblers ballot this April, is the new way to pay when buying and selling a car privately. Stop by their stand to find out more about Skoot's online payment service, which enables owners and purchasers to ensure a secure and stress-free transfer. Simply enter the car’s registration number to create a transaction, invite the other party and Skoot will guide you through the process from start to finish. Swing by their stand adjacent to the Scramblers lawn to find out more.

12. Maserati UK

On Sunday 25 April 1926, exactly 100 years ago yesterday, the Tipo 26 was unveiled to the world at the epic Targa Florio road race by the Maserati brothers of Bologna. One of those brothers, Alfieri, claimed the class win behind the faster, more famous Bugattis.

Its legacy continues, though: the Tipo 26 carried the now-familiar trident on its wing, a logo created by their artistic brother Mario and supposedly inspired by the Neptune statue in the centre of the town.

Every single Maserati built in the past 100 years has carried that same symbol, directly connecting it to those pioneering racing-focused brothers. Maserati UK is celebrating its heritage with some special and surprising models at the heart of the Main Drive, from 90-year-old 6CM to the newest supercars.

13. Vee engine celebration

The Orchard Lawn is celebrating the very thing that, for many people, creates the real character of a car.

There might be just two cylinders jarring away from each other, there could be four or even two banks of six jutting back from the centre at a very specific angle. The most popular, and the most familiar, is the V8.

A works Leyland Triumph TR7 V8 driven by rallying cult hero Tony Pond is among its representatives, along with a Craftsman NASCAR series truck. From the road, expect to find a mighty Iso Grifo – a meeting of minds between Giorgetto Guigaro and Giotto Bizzarrini, with various American brutes. Ford supplies a surprising four-cylinder in the shape of its wonderful early Transit, which is two cylinders short of the famous Cologne V6. Mazda and the world’s smallest production V6 ably covers that configuration with the little MX-3 coupé.

The BAR 006, which was run and operated by David Richards and Prodrive, honours what is perhaps the best-sounding era of Formula 1 in its 75-year-plus history, as the wailing V10s echoed around the world. Audi’s RS6 Avant offers a more practical application of the layout, easily the fastest and most exciting way to move a chest of drawers or wardrobe. One of the most beautiful Aston Martins of recent times carries the V12 flag, the Vanquish Zagato.

14. The Little Top

A special place for the youngest Scramblers. Stop by for everything from balloons to face painting.

15. MCR Karting

We’re proud to sponsor Marshall Clan Racing, an up-and-coming Bicester‑based karting team. Stop by to meet a few members of their team and find out more about getting involved.

16. Progress of Power

One weighs more than 600kg, the other less than 13kg – or, in old money, around 1400lb and 27lb. We've placed two Merlin engines next to a YASA axial flux motor in the Incendiary Store, Building 96, to represent like never before the progress made in the best part of a century.

Both produced more than 750bhp in their initial forms, and, with a little development, soon surpassed the 1000bhp mark.

One of the Merlins is from a Lancaster that crashed in Buckinghamshire, the other, remarkably, is effectively new-old stock. With thanks to Jamie Fairchild.

17. Warwick Moto

A celebration of up and coming talent on two wheels. Warwick University's Moto team will display its remarkable electric motorbike.

18. Bring a Trailer

Bring a Trailer (BaT), the global leader in online collector vehicle auctions, is expanding its UK operations and is thrilled to join the April Scramble.

In collaboration with Sports Purpose, a member of its ‘Local Partners’ network of seller support providers, BaT will host a wide-ranging display of significant vehicles.

President and co-founder, Randy Nonnenberg, and several BaT staffers will be here to meet with fellow enthusiasts, collectors and retailers in the MT Yard.

Bring a Trailer launched online car auctions in 2014 and achieved more than $1.7bn in sales in 2025, typically listing more than 100 cars, trucks, motorcycles and related items each day. Expect to see BaT at future Scrambles as the platform becomes the event’s official online auction partner.

19. Speaker's Corner

Fascinating stories and insight can be found across the Scramble, with a host of live guests throughout. First up in Motorsport UK on Southern Avenue is David Richards, chairman of Motorsport UK and founder of Prodrive at 9:30. Interviewing him is Andrew Frankel and Dan Prosser of The Intercooler. Former Grand Prix driver Mark Blundell joins them at 12:30pm before Dan Geoghegan at 2pm, the visionary behind Bicester Motion, who will dive into the deep history of former RAF Bicester and the monumental task of cultivating it into the place you see today.

20. Jaguar Day Preview

Stop by to view a selection of all eras of Jaguar, and find out about the upcoming Great British Jaguar Day event, hosted by Chris Harris on Cars and Car & Classic. You can find out more here.

21. StarterMotor

Bicester Motion's resident charity will be pitching up at the end of the Main Drive to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Morgan Sports Car Club. Stop by to browse a collection of their members' cars, and find out more about the good work that StarterMotor does within the classic and historic motoring industry.

23. Fuelling the Future

Discover a hand-picked selection of the latest electric vehicles. The future is now.

24. Lamborghinis

A changing of the guard display sprawls across the veranda of the Guard House, honouring 25 years since the end of the Diablo and the birth of the Murciélago, and 15 years since that model ended to be replaced by the Aventador.

25. Construct with Kier

Kier, construction partner of Phase 1 of the Ranges, returns to the Scramble with ride-on diggers, foam bricks and more for some immersive hands-on fun on Western Avenue. Plus, learn more about career opportunities at Kier.

26. Rollhard

Check out friends of the Scramble Rollhard, where the UK's finest modified machines come together.

27. Gunston Double

Tolman Motorsport is taking the wraps off a vee-engined machine on the Western Avenue, with a Cologne V6-powered Ford Capri touring car ready for the upcoming historic racing season.

Sat alongside it, close to Building 92, the Parachute Store, is another Ford-powered machine with matching livery and a storied history: the Ford Team Gunston Lola T212 driven by Le Mans winner Helmut Marko and prolific Formula 1 privateer John Love in the vibrant sports car championships of the 1970s. The pair took the car to fifth overall and second in class in the 1971 Kyalami 9 Hours.

28. HCVA

The Historic & Classic Vehicles Alliance is back for another Scramble, stop by to enjoy a range of the vehicles from their membership.

The map also highlights a few other important points of interest:

General Parking

Located to the east of the site, on the airfield.

Toilets

Located in four areas:

On the corner of Hangar 113

By Hangar 108, beyond the Golden Ticket Lawn

Just off the main drive, opposite the Information Point, by building 103

Near Gate 1, between buildings 87 and 89

Catering

Catering outlets are spread throughout the Scramble. There are plenty of options for all dietary requirements, with vegetarian and vegan options available.

Information & Bicester Motion Hub

Head to the Information Point and Bicester Motion Hub on the Main Drive and the team will point you in the right direction around the event and chat through exciting development plans such as the restoration of the Station Headquarters and continued growth of The Ranges.

The Bicester Motion Hub will also have a free-to-use racing simulator from P1 Racing. They will be bringing a simulator setup together with a Lotus Exige, giving visitors a closer look at their driver-focused approach to sim racing.

Medical Points

There will be two main medical points, one beside the Hangar 113 next to the airfield, and the other on Southern Avenue, near Hangar 137. Should you have a medical requirement, please head to one of the medical points or let one of our stewards know!

How to get here

What's the address?

Bicester Motion, Buckingham Rd, Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX27 8AL.

Please pay attention to event signage as you draw closer to the event. You will not be able to enter in a vehicle via Gate 1, which satellite navigation systems may try to use; instead please follow the P symbol.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, all parking is free.

Which entrances do vehicles use?

Gates 3 and 8. As you near Bicester Motion, follow the ‘P’ symbol on the yellow event signage to the gates on Buckingham Road and Skimmingdish Lane. Please do not follow your satellite navigation system.

Your tickets will then be checked by the stewards and you will be directed to the parking areas.

What's the plan once I'm on-site?

Welcome! Keep an eye out for our friendly stewards who'll guide you towards the public car parks. Park up, and make your way towards the Paddock.

What is the deal for classic vehicles?

The classic car park has had an update and will now welcome any car with a prefix or suffix numberplate. That means any car made before 2001 will be directed to the forward parking display areas, if capacity allows. If you are in a post-2001 vehicle you will use general parking – anyone trying to access the pre-2001 display areas will be politely asked to turn around.

Earn yourself a Golden Ticket.

Arriving in something special? Look out for Ambassadors from StarterMotor, who'll be handing out Golden Ticket hangers. Lucky enough to receive one? You'll be directed to display your car on the Golden Ticket Lawn, rather than the public car park.

Which entrance do pedestrians use?

Pedestrians with a valid ticket must use Gate 1 on Buckingham Road, near the roundabout with Skimmingdish Lane.

Which car parks are worth a wander through?

All of them! But we'd certainly suggest taking a stroll through the Pre-2001 and supercars Parking, the Golden Ticket Lawn and the Pegasus Member Parking too, each of which will be full of surprises.

Please respect our neighbours!

We're lucky to have a prime position on the northern edge of Bicester, but this also means we're not the only ones on the roads. Please drive carefully, calmly and quietly; we ask you not to use the roads around us as a makeshift racing track.

Allow our neighbours a peaceful Sunday. Thank you.
