Zapp Electric Vehicles will have a bumper presence at the Scramble on Sunday 27 April following approval from the Vehicle Certification Agency, permitting sale of the i300 model across Europe.

The Scramble will be its first UK outing since the announcement, and the manufacturer’s Command Works HQ will be open along with a pop up by the Station Offices during the sold-out event.

“This latest regulatory approval enables Zapp to start selling i300 at scale in Great Britain,” Jeremy North, president of Zapp EV, said. “It marks another important step in our commercial rollout in Europe.

"We are growing our sales and support network beyond our own experience centre in Bicester in the United Kingdom to include additional authorised resellers throughout the continent.

“And, with this latest achievement now in-hand, we especially look forward to meeting customers and business partners at the upcoming Scramble event at Bicester Motion.”

The scooter, which tops out at a limited 60mph and hits 45mph in just 4.1 seconds, has claimed awards for its innovation, including the patented exoskeleton and removable front fenders. The latter is interchangeable, allowing owners to personalise their i300 even after they leave the showroom.

Find out more about the model by visiting Zapp EV on Sunday and visit personalise.zappev.com to spec your own.
